Terms & Conditions

General

These Terms & Conditions shall apply to all sales through Pileupdx.com (owned and operated by Pileup AB , org 559004-4383), and will exclude application of any deviating general or specific conditions or terms of buyer. No waiver or modification of these Conditions of Sale shall be binding upon Pileup AB, unless approved in writing by an authorized representative of Pileup AB.

Price and Payment

Every product’s price is shown in EUR including VAT. From July 1st 2021 VAT is calculated on based on each country’s local VAT according to the new EU regulation (see here). Pileup AB accepts payment using bank transfer, major credit cards (via Bambora) and Paypal transfers. Pileup AB charging the customer’s card directly when using bambora checkout. The buyer is responsible for any fees applied by the buyers finical institution. When checking out using Paypal a fee is added to the order total. In the shopping cart you can see the total price including all fees, taxes and shipping costs.

Delivery and Shipping Costs

Normal delivery time is 2-4 business days after we have received your order. In the event that a product must be ordered from a supplier, delivery time may be longer. Notification of any discrepancies are highlighted in your order confirmation. You can then chose to change or cancel your order.

We ship through a variety of carriers depending on your location. Most often UPS, Fedex or DHL are used but for smaller items PostNord . Alternative options are available, contact us before checking out for special shipping requests. Shipping fees are shown in the shopping cart.

Pileup AB will not bail out packages for cash on delivery. Uncollected shipments returned to us will be billed at actual cost plus a handling  fee of 32 Euro.

If your package arrives with visible defects you must report this directly to your shipping handler (your local delivery company) upon receipt of the goods. It is good practice to take photos of any damage to the packaging before unboxing your shipment.

Return Policy

Pileup AB’s return policy is 14 days. Pileup AB shall, if under the jurisdiction of our return policy, refund your payment for the product and/or service as soon as possible, but latest within 30 days of the product being returned or you informing us of wanting to return a service.

The return period is counted from the day you received the purchased product, or a significant part of the product. If you have purchased a customized product or a product with a significant personal customisation, the return period is counted from the day Pileup AB have informed you about the product. To initiate a return you must clearly state that you regret your purchase in a message to Pileup AB.

You do not qualify for our return policy if:

  • The service you have bought was commenced with your consent during the return period.
  • Due to the physical nature of the service, it is not returnable.
  • The seal of authentication of the product has been broken/opened.

When returning a product/service:

  • You are obliged to keep the product/service in the same condition as when delivered. You must not have used the product/service. If damage or harm is caused to a product while investigated the product does not qualify for the return policy.
  • Pileup AB should be contacted before any item is returned.
  • In all cases the buyer pays for return shipping of the product. Pileup AB cover shipping of replacement products and/or services.

Warranty

Pileup AB provide warranty for 2 years or equivalent to that Pileup AB receive from Pileup AB’s suppliers or manufacturers. The product warranty covers only original manufacturing errors, i.e. errors that were on delivery. Contact Pileup AB or the individual supplier or  manufacturer to obtain exact warranty terms. Warranty is limited to the original owner as stated on the receipt or invoice.

Please note that final transistors and/or tubes in transceivers and amplifiers and rechargeable batteries are not covered by warranty. There will be no other warranty provided by Pileup AB, unless expressly agreed in writing.

Pileup AB should be contacted with a written warranty claim before any item is retuned for warranty repair. This warranty claim should include a detailed description of the problem together with proof of purchase and name, shipping address and email address. The buyer is responsible for shipping the item to Pileup AB or its supplier or manufacturer who then will return the repaired or replaced item on its expense.

Privacy Policy

When ordering a product/service you will be asked to fill in you personal information including your name, address, email address, phone number etc. Upon purchase you agree to this information is stored in accordance with Pileup AB’s privacy policy in order to fulfill our agreement to you as our customer. In accordance to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have certain rights in relation to the personal information Pileup AB have registered about you. Read full privacy policy here.

Force Majeure

Pileup AB (Pileupdx.com) is not liable for any non-performance caused by circumstances beyond our control, which directly or indirectly prevents, obstructs or renders production, delivery or freight uneconomical until such obstacle has been removed (force majeure). Such circumstances shall be deemed to include difficulties to procure raw materials as well as other difficulties and disturbances, including but not limited to war, riot, labour conflicts, fire, flood, storm, accident, fuel or power shortages, transportation shortages, obstacles or interruptions regarding transportation at sea and breakdowns or interruptions of any kind as regards to our equipment or facilities, which are deemed necessary for the performance of our agreements’ obligations.
