ICOM IC‑705 Compatibility
The BHM‑79 is firmware-upgradable to support ICOM radios including the IC‑705 and ID‑52E. To enable ICOM mode, install firmware version 2.8.3.0 or later. This unlocks a dedicated “ICOM Mode” in the companion app settings. To return to VGC compatibility, simply disable ICOM Mode.
