Lab599 has officially shared the first photos and initial details about their latest project—the TX-1000, a direct sampling Software Defined Radio (SDR) transceiver covering HF, VHF, and UHF bands. This announcement marks an exciting development for the amateur radio community, introducing a true multi-band, multi-mode SDR transceiver designed for serious operators.
While the TX-1000 is still at the prototype stage, key questions remain about CE certification, final specifications, and the expected Tx-1000 release date—but the first glimpse confirms that this is shaping up to be a major new contender in the world of SDR transceivers.
Below, you’ll find the preliminary information shared by Lab599 as of today, April 24, 2025.
