Few hams enjoy the luxury of living in a rural area where the background noise is low. A remote RX station in a quiet location will improve your receiving capabilities and let you hear weak signals otherwise impossible to detect.
On this page we have collected great gear when building your own RX station. Add a 4G modem and a battery and you can place your remote RX station almost anywhere. Much of this gear is also useful for a remote controller transceiver station.
