RAK Wireless 5.8dBi Fiber Glass Antenna is a high-quality medium gain antenna designed for outdoor deployment. The antenna connector is integrated with the antenna body, as this design increases the antenna’s resistance to external conditions. It is IP67-rated, making it weatherproof. The antenna is designed to operate in the 868 MHz band, including EU868, IN865, and RU864.
The coverage provided by this antenna makes it ideal for deployment in Meshtastic nets where nodes are scattered over a wider area. Its vertical radiation pattern provides for mid-range distance coverage while not sacrificing local coverage. Perfect for less dense population areas like villages and cities with low rise buildings.
