RAK Wireless 3dBi Fiber Glass Antenna is a high-quality high gain antenna designed for outdoor deployment. The antenna connector is integrated with the antenna body, as this design increases the antenna’s resistance to external conditions. It is IP67-rated, making it weatherproof. The antenna is designed to operate in the 868 MHz band, including EU868, IN865, and RU864.

The coverage provided by this antenna makes it ideal for deployment in dense Meshtastic nets with several nodes in the local area and when coverage in close proximity is crucial. Its lower gain is the result of the very broad vertical radiation pattern which makes it efficient for narrow-range signals. While distance is a function of height, the antenna can also be placed low and still will serve top floors on high rise buildings around it.
