The BP-550 is designed to operate with standard flat-top, unprotected 18650 cells only. Do not use protected or button-top 18650 batteries, as longer cells may not fit correctly and can cause operational issues. For charging, use a USB-C power source rated at 30 W or higher for best results. When powering from external DC sources, ensure the supply is within the specified 15-50 V range and capable of delivering the recommended current.
